You can permanently delete your Lumee account and all associated data at any time. This action cannot be undone.
Option 1: Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open Lumee.
- Tap the Me tab in the bottom navigation.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation dialog and tap Delete Everything.
Your account and data are permanently removed within a few seconds. The app signs you out and returns to the welcome screen.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app (for example, you have uninstalled it), email hello@withlumee.com from the address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete my Lumee account". We will process the request and confirm deletion within 7 days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Your account (Firebase Authentication record)
- Your profile and settings
- All intentions and manifestations
- All journal entries (gratitude, process, signs)
- All vision boards and uploaded images
- Your subscription record with our payments provider (RevenueCat)
- Local app data and preferences on your device
What is retained, and for how long
- Crash and diagnostic logs. Retained in aggregated, anonymized form for up to 90 days for stability monitoring. These do not contain your journal content or personally identifying information.
- App Store and Google Play purchase receipts. Held by Apple and Google under their own policies. We do not control these records. To request deletion of platform-side purchase data, contact Apple or Google directly.
Subscription cancellation
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. To cancel:
- iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Lumee → Cancel.
- Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Lumee → Cancel.
